Digital worlds worth getting lost in.

Honkai: Star Rail

A space-fantasy RPG that turns each new world into its own stage. The turn-based combat is easy to settle into, while team building, character stories, and the steady rhythm of new journeys keep giving me reasons to return.

Broadleaf Reserve & Quiet Pour

Dark cocoa, cedar, and dried fruit arrived slowly. A small pour softened the edges and made the final third warmer without burying the tobacco.

Sixteen scents, tried one stick at a time.

Kyukyodo · First impressions

Two samplers, one stick at a time.

I started with two eight-scent samplers from Kyukyodo. These are first impressions rather than fixed tasting notes, recorded as I slowly burn through the set.

Most profiles use Kyukyodo's public notes; Hanabato instead uses a clearly labeled Taobao merchant image. None of these sources constitutes a complete formula.

Maigoromo

舞衣 · まいごろも

My verdictWould burn again

Sourced profile

Sandalwood · Laoshan sandalwood

Kyukyodo describes Maigoromo as generously made with premium sandalwood and Laoshan sandalwood, producing a sweet, refreshing sandalwood fragrance.

Both Maigoromo and Chitose center sandalwood. Their public notes emphasize different construction: Maigoromo highlights generous use of premium sandalwood, while Chitose explicitly mentions added fragrance and restrained sweetness.

05

Jinkō

薫沈香 · じんこう

Sourced profile

Agarwood · Blended fragrance

Kyukyodo describes Jinkō as a blend of agarwood and various fragrance ingredients that recreates the prized character of agarwood as a deep, Japanese-style aroma.

The sampler label reads “薫沈香,” while Kyukyodo's current standalone listing uses “じんこう.” Agarwood forms when Aquilaria wood accumulates resin over time; this incense remains a composed blend rather than a single-ingredient stick.

07

Hanabato

線香 しのぶ乃か · せんこう しのぶのか

My verdictWould burn again

Sourced profile

Sandalwood · Florals and woods · Traditional aromatic blend · Light woody profile

A Taobao merchant describes this incense as a light sandalwood composition with florals, woods, and traditional aromatic ingredients, giving it a gentle, cooling fragrance. The listing image also states that each stick is 14 cm long.

The package front reads “線香 しのぶ乃か,” while “花鸠” (Hanabato) is the Chinese product name used by the Taobao merchant. Neither Kyukyodo's current shop nor its searchable archived product pages provide a matching description, so these notes record the retailer profile rather than an official formula.

2022–2023 CBRE Global Workplace & Occupancy Insights

Drawing on 60 organizations, 493 million sq. ft. of office space, and roughly 50,000 data points, the report examines how hybrid work is changing space demand, office design, and space sharing. It also shows how workplace teams are moving from planned-area metrics to actual utilization data for real-estate and business decisions.

I saved it because I used the report, including some of its data, while researching office-space sizing. What surprised me most was finding that people are genuinely studying how office space gets used, so I wanted to keep a record of it.
